Least Cost Path
Three least cost path analysis were run to determine a route that would require minimum effort to move from an obsidian mine through our study site to Tzintzuntzan. The process below was iterated three times for each of the three least cost paths. The first path links the obsidian mine to the study site where obsidian considering only slope. The second path crosses the study site taking into consideration structures (high cost) and transit zones (low cost). The last path connects the study site to Tzintzuntzan.
